You can smell the world at London Heathrow Airport's new attraction

mashable.com: What does a country smell like? London Heathrow has a new exhibit that tries to answer that question: It's a globe that shares the smells of the world.

The "scent globe" is in the departure lounge at Heathrow's new Terminal 2, which opened five months ago, and has already seen about 3.5 million passengers.

I never really thought of airports being an entertainment enterprise, but looking back on my trip to Scotland, and spending hours in the airport during long layovers, I realized the incredible amount of luxury retailers, expensive restaurants, and tourist attractions that are meant to entertain the traveler and, produce even more money for the airport, and of course, it's vendors.
The "Scents of the World" does seem interesting and I'm sure if I saw it I would use it, I'm just not sure how accurate the smells are. When I think of China, I think of busy streets, with way too many sweaty people, street vendors selling fish, meats, and many foods that would smell off to me, and probably a few homeless people. This idea does not correlate with "a mystical temple incense and subtle Osmanthus Fragrans flower [to] create an orient explosion,". But maybe that's just me.
