Postings like this remind me of what you give up as a student. If it weren't for academic commitments (crew, scheme, etc.) then it would be a convenient way to pick up a few bucks, but with the academic commitments in place that's not an option. On the other hand, being in school makes you more marketable and desirable once you get out, so it's all a trade-off. Hopefully in the end that trade-off will be worthwhile, as of now though it's just another way to increase the stress of college.
I always wonder if these craigslist requests for stage crews, autocad help, designers, etc... are put out as a last resort, or it's just that the product being searched for is one that one might find through craigslist, or the classifieds section of a newspaper. I also wonder if craigslist might be the best source for non-union theatre workers.
