Post Gazette: "The audience is especially crucial to 'The Women of the Hill,' says writer/director Ping Chong.
He and co-creator Talvin Wilks interviewed more than 20 Hill District women at length before choosing six whose stories would make up what they call 'a chamber piece of storytelling ... creating cultural identity out of rich and complex histories.'"

This has the potential to be a very interesting piece. I find local productions that showcase the rich history and diversity of Pittsburgh to be absolutely compelling. The people of this city have some amazing stories to tell about themselves, their families, and how this city made them who they are.
I had the opportunity to see City Theatre's production of "Speak American" this past spring, and I found it to be most fascinating. I hope this turns production turns out to be just as good.
