Live Nation sells most of US theatrical business
The Boston Globe: "Key Brand Entertainment has closed a deal to acquire the bulk of Live Nation's North American theatrical business, meaning it will take over Boston's Colonial Theatre and Charles Playhouse and also its Broadway Across America business, which brings touring Broadway shows to town."

Live Nation rules the world. I'm glad to see somebody else enter the game, even if they did merely buy a portion of the monster company. In addition, I'm glad it's a business that is dedicated to promoting theatre. Live Nation had great intentions, but they definately spent more time and effort on music than musical theatre. Although there will probably be little impact with new maangement, I wonder what changes will now be made.
