Theaters get free pass from county's new smoking law

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Actors will be breaking the law in Allegheny County if they smoke onstage during a performance, but county health officials said they'll look the other way."

This is an interesting development in the Allegheny County smoking ban and it's relevance to stage productions. I'll be curious to see if the County Council ever decides to amend the ban to allow on-stage smoking, or if we will continue to slide by on the Health Department looking the other way.
