All Hail Dramaturgs

Some happy news to share about our dramaturgy students in the business.

LAVINA JADHWANI (LD '05/MAM '06) was awarded a prestigious LMDA Dramaturgy Residency for her work with the Silk Road Theatre Company in Chicago. She is also directing for the Rasaka Theatre Company, and just landed a job as, I think I have this right, Assistant Literary Manager at the Steppenwolf!

GREG VAN HORN (ENGLISH '07) has received a great dramaturgical honor: he was awarded first alternate for the Northeastern Region KC/ACTF competition for his casebook for our production of AFTER MISS JULIE.

TIM ISRAEL (DTURG '08) was offered a summer dramaturgy internship at the Rebel Theatre Company in New York City.

BRIANNA ALLEN (DTURG '09) was offered a summer dramaturgy internship at the SignStage Theatre for the Deaf in Cleveland, Ohio.

Please join me in congratulating our newest population of overachievers!

Also, last semester Alan Katz and currently Brianna Allen were/are involved in a dramaturgy internship at Pittsburgh's own City Theatre. Go 'Turgs!
