Warwick tribute a thrilling evocation of an era
Sun Times: "Women have ruled the stage at the Black Ensemble Theater for more than a year now. It all began with an homage to black female gospel singers. Then came the turbulent life of Etta James and the political fire of Nina Simone. Now, in 'Don't Make Me Over,' which opened this weekend, it's a tribute to Dionne Warwick."
