'Middle-Earth' theme park rumors gain traction thanks to trademark

www.hypable.com: In very early January we shared interesting intel from a theme park forum where a source said Universal and the Tolkien family were working on developing a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit theme park.

Now a new trademark registered just one week ago lends credence to these reports.

We’re actually surprised it’s taken this long for The Saul Zaentz Company – who owns the worldwide film, stage, and merchandise rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises – to get the trademark for “Middle-Earth.”

Although I never been to the place, The Wizarding World theme park is definitely one of places that I wish to visit. Based on its popularity and success, I have no doubt that the Middle Earth theme park will be another surprise for "Lord of the Ring" fans. I think it is always good idea to create theme park where it makes a dream place into reality. Like the setting of the Harry Potter, Middle Earth is surely interesting and fantastic-like place that everyone wishes to visit while watching the movie. Especially looking at the collaboration between Universal and Tolkien, I am sure that it can create an amusing place where everyone looks for. I hope to visit both places soon
