ThomasNet – An Awesome Repository Of Technical Information

Make Use Of: "Normally when I am looking for technical information, it is computer related. In the last few weeks I have had to do a lot of manly tasks including polishing a garage floor and getting into some laser cutting.
I know crazy right? Real physical hands on work! Well in my quest for knowledge I found a awesome technical information website called ThomasNet."

It's good to see the Thomas Register finally meeting the 20th century.

I'm just glad that there are sighsts like Thomas Register out there. For my summer job I spent several days Googleing different types of plastics, and if I'd known about this site it would've made the cross comparison maddeningly easier since it's all on one page rather then spread out across the inter-webs. I'm just a little surprised I'd never heard mention of this site before.

Thats so AWESOME. ThomanNet is now on my main page on Safari. It's a good collection of tech info from all kinds of topics. Just on the main page I found articles on 5 things i've had to do or know about in the past two weeks. Working in theatre requires us to know how to do just about everything, and this site is just right for that.

This looks like an amazing resource for EVERYONE. While it is clearly geared toward the technically minded person, there is such a wide variety of information that it can be helpful to almost anyone. I think it should definitely be one of the first stops for TD's or anyone searching for a method for a particular project. It is definitely getting its own space on my Bookmarks Bar.
