Brilliant read for designers in any focus. Closing the article Tsu says, "I believe a good designer has the ability to take on the skins of many cultures and can immerse herself in many situations, which she in fact has not experienced" which is something I believe strongly in. As an aspiring costume designer, I love to read and experience different cultures. I find that even if I am not able to visit, I can listen to music from all over the world and get a little feel for their culture.
