Tools of the Trade: I’ve never visited the Harry J. Epstein Co, an amazingly retro hand tool store in Kansas City, Missouri. The next time I'm in the Midwest I plan to stop by.

If for some unknown reason I ever have to go to Kansas City, visiting this hardware store would make the trip worth it. I really like going into stores or diners that have been around for a long time and haven't changed at all. There's that air of nostalgia and it feels like you're in a time capsule, and there's the feeling that just isn't there in modern places that try to look old and nostalgic. Also, the videos after the article were hilarious, and I think that the owner is has a great sense of humor. I also found it very interesting how the store was set up, and the organization system that they have for their huge stock. It’s definitely a refreshing change from those large hardware stores that are so sterile feeling.
