I am extremely excited to see this production this winter break! I have been interested in this production since I first saw the marquee being put up in NYC earlier in the year. I love the work of Charlie Chaplin and I am very excited to see that a musical was written revolving around his life and work. It is nice to see that this show is doing well! It is also nice to see that this show is not "commercial" in the sense that it is not derived from a movie or book. Maybe if it comes to Pittsburgh in 2014 I will see it again!

I am so excited to hear about this production. Ever since my history class watched The Great Dictator in my junior year of high school, I have always found Charlie Chaplin absolutely fascinating. I don't know a lot about him, but I have studied the influence he had and how his performances effected his audience. I think a musical about his life is a fantastic idea and I can't wait to see it.
