A Hunt of Ducks
Topless Robot: This is part of a brilliant collection of short, videogame-inspired plays being put on by the Piper McKenzie theater company in (where else) Brooklyn. It's titled "Theater of the Arcade," and features plays based on Pac-Man, Donkey King and more, and is so wonderful I can barely stand it.

This is quite odd but really kinda funny. I think that it could be more interesting to see the Donkey Kong or Pac-Man version of this group. Making them as though they are Harold Pinter type plays really does make the childhood games that many of us grew up with, very enjoyable. I could only imagine what DK would be talking about if Pinter was inside his brain. Would we really find the motivation behind Pac-Man's seemingly endless, but seriously dangerous eating disorder? Its an interesting but overall good approach to theatre to try to take things that many can identify with. I hope that they continue to put out work that can make people smile.
