I didn't know that I show like that would take so much effort. I mean, with the animals alone it takes so much. I didn't understand that it took permits to allow the handling of animals in a theater. But also the upkeep they demand on the show and the amount of money and time going into the care of animals. I also feel that the show calls for a multitude of othr things other than this. The technical requirements are an importnat aspects and the dancing and acting demands are just as importnat.

I'm really glad someone wrote an article on the technical aspects of this show, because it basically defines American commercial spectacle at it's best! I saw it in New York two years ago, right after they amped it up from the more traditional format. IT'S CRAZY! It's got effects like I've never seen before, and the Rockettes themselves were just half of the excitement. It's a really corny and cheesy show that costs too much and is overrated...but it's still really freaking awesome to watch, and if you're into that whole holiday spirit, it makes you warm and happy on the inside :)
