This article is one that I should take to uses. Like not looking at your email at a designated time every day. I know that I see my self checking my email when I here the sound of an email coming in. also having not emails in your mail box and have folders to put them in them so that you don’t have to go though the inbox to get things and it makes your life more organized. I would like to start to do this it seems like it would be a lot of work up form but then it would pay off. Also the other things where great tips to work with email. I think that I will try to uses some of these tips.

This article seems a little ridiculous. I feel like giving email so many rules, and saying you HAVE to do this, and HAVE to do this every time you open your email seems like that makes email a lot more stressful than it needs to be. I've always subscribed to the fact that checking email is a treat and not a chore. Do it when you want, respond to what you want to respond to, and then call it done. Don't schedule it, don't dread it, and your inbox won't fill up.

This article reiterates a lot of what Joe taught us in meta-skills. While I have tried to instate some of these rules I mostly agree with Michael. I just try to keep my email under control and not let it pile up and become a stress. I check it when I have time and try not to let it become a distraction when I am trying to get other work done. I am sure that if you work in job that makes you deal with a lot more email than I deal with that these methods are a lot more important.
