David L. Boren Scholarship and Fellowship- Undergraduate
The Institute of International Education is pleased to announce the
beginning of the 2008-2009 National Security Education Program (NSEP)
David L. Boren Scholarship and Fellowship competitions. Created in 1991,
NSEP awards undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships to
American students for study of world regions critical to U.S. interests
(including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin
America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East). Boren Scholarships
provide up to $20,000 for an academic year's study abroad. . The
application deadline for the Boren Fellowship is January 30. For
information and the online applications for the scholarships and
fellowships are available on the Institute of International Education's
