Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "Stage 62's summer musical, Stephen Sondheim's Tony award-winning 'Company,' is credited as the first 'concept musical' -- a show based on a theme rather than a story.
'Company,' which opens tonight at Carnegie's Andrew Carnegie Music Hall, premiered in 1970. It explores marriage and the search for a partner in a series of scenes with songs such as 'Ladies Who Lunch' and 'Side-by-Side-by-Side.'"
