Draft Electrical Safety Standards Available For Public Review Through July 30
LiveDesign: "BSR E.19 - 200x, Recommended Practice for the use of Class A Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupters. (GFCIs) intended for personnel protection in the entertainment industry, gives advice on where, when, and how to use GFCIs rated for 100 A and less in the entertainment industry."

It seems to me that they are missing an important case. Even inside a theater/place of assembly where water is not in use for set/effects, there is a risk for spilled drinks (it's hard to keep them all out) or fire sprinkler systems to introduce water. Because of this, any high voltage in an area where water would pool (floor pockets, footlights, etc) should be supplied by a GFCI, which should be placed somewhere either sealed or where water would pool. If I figure out printing here I'll have to sent them that in a review.
