California Shakespeare Theatre, a LORT C outdoor summer theatre in
Berkeley, CA seeks a carpentry intern for it's 4-show season.
The internship is not paid, we do not provide housing. The hours are
reasonable, the experience is good (you're a member of a 5 person shop,
so you actually build things and probably manage overhire, you're not
"just an intern"). The first show opens in June (the shop is running
now), the last show closes in October.
I was the ATD the last two years at the theatre, my other job has gotten
too busy to be able to go back (much as I'd like to), and I can answer
questions folks have about it.
