This article is right, Any.Do is a fantastic app. I actually downloaded this app on my phone to test it out and it did not disappoint. I really like how the app allows you to create different folders to sort your "to do" items in. Most to do list apps do not have the function to sort items into folders, and I think this is an essential aspect of keeping a to do list. The app also has the ability to sync with your calendar and contacts, which is great. In addition, I think it is really nice how you plan out your day by tasks. This automatically makes people feel obligated to complete the tasks they have picked out for themselves at the beginning of the day. It is nice to hit the little red "X" on the bottom of the screen when a task is complete.

The app that caught my attention is HabitRPG. I find that my main problem regarding to-do lists isn't really getting organized. I always have one main list that I update every few days with detailed milestones for each project, and all my school assignments are in a calendar that I refer to and update all the time. My main problem isn't knowing what the work is, but actually doing it. I definitely procrastinate much less than I used to, but I sometimes still leave some projects to the last minute. I think that the basic premise behind HabitRPG is a neat idea, because creating a reward for finishing a project beyond that of simply being done is exactly the kind of incentive that could get me to get my work done. I like that rather than simply crossing something off a to-do list, you're giving yourself points for doing it. The positive game aspect of this really appeals to me and I actually just downloaded it onto my phone to see if it really can motivate me to get my work done earlier.

Yes! I love to-do lists. They keep me focused because checking off that little box is extremely satisfying for me. As a new iPhone user, I look forward to downloading this app. I think it's really important for a to-do list to have a scheduling function as well. The standard Apple reminders app is clunky to use and not as easy as this looks. I've never heard of HabitRPG app before, but the whole point system is really interesting as well. I've never explored the "reward system" as far as keeping myself on track. Great article.

Every person has their own way of keeping organized and staying on track with what they have to do. This seems to be a a great app that would work for many different people. I have always been more the type of person that has to write down my tasks for the day or the week and cross them off as I finish but I am going to give this app a try and see how I like it. It seems to have some good reviews and positive feedback.
