This article was so inspiring! I have actually heard of this artist before in Basic Design. Earlier this year Susan brought her up and had talked about how she had transitioned from being a theatre artist to a fine artist. It was also mentioned that one of her works was displayed in the Carnegie Museum of Art. I am so happy to hear that she is being rewarded for her hard work and talent. I am inspired by the couple that has started this fund. I had never heard of them, although I am from San Antonio myself, but I am interested to see wether she will win the award. It is also nice to hear that the pittsburgh community is very supportive of her career as an artist. I am very happy to be in a city that values the arts and supports the local community of artists.
