To be honest, I clicked on this article because I saw the name Princess Grace, as in her Serene Highnesses The Princess of Monaco and inspiration for renaming the Hermes Sac à dépêches to the now iconic Kelly bag. The article is about the Princess Grace Foundation-USA that award people in the arts. The Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a publicly-supported and non-profit organization. Their headquarters are in New York City, and they were founded 35 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco in order to honor his wife, Princess Grace's legacy. The Foundation is deigned and dedicated to identifying and helping emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships. They have awarded over 14 million dollars to nearly 800 recipients. The categories for their awards include theater and playwriting, dance performance and choreography, and film. They also award grants to past Princess Grace Award and Honoraria recipients for special projects, works in progress residencies at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, and choreography mentorship co-commission.
