You get to experience different cultures, meet people of all nationalities (and realize we’re all the same), taste wonderful and unusual foods, explore cities where you can’t read the road signs, see natural beauty and temples and monuments that you didn’t even know existed, and step far, far outside your comfort zone and grow as a person more than you thought was possible.
