Baltimore Shakespeare Factory to open 2017 season with historic production of ‘Antony and Cleopatra’
www.axs.com: The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory (BSF) has announced it will open their 2017 season with a historic production of William Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. The BSF has been working closely with world-renowned dialect expert Paul Meier, and with his guidance this production will be performed in the original pronunciation (OP). The presentation, which runs March 31 through April 23 and will take place in the Great Hall at St. Mary’s Community Center, will be the very first time that modern audiences will be able to hear Antony and Cleopatra spoken in the way it was first performed in the early 1600s.
