Hazmat by Accident
Occupational Health & Safety: In an emergency situation such as a natural disaster or hazardous material exposure, is your program “Safety in Name Only”? Another consideration to keep in mind in regards to hazmat is that the PPE your employees have on hand or in stock is the appropriate PPE both for the materials that are in stock and in use in which ever workspace and for the employees. Employees need to understand what which PPE is appropriate and ensure that it all fits the individual to be using it or that the individual knows which size is appropriate for them.
