Power Tool of the Year 2013 - Winner Announced
www.toolstop.co.uk: Flashing lights, red carpets, tuxedos and champagne were the order of the evening on Friday as we welcomed our Power Tool of the Year nominees to our annual Power Tool Oscars.
In attendance were Makita, DeWALT, Bosch, Metabo and Hitachi, each company feeling the nerves of anticipation as they awaited your choice of Toolstop's Power Tool of the Year.

I know very little to nothing about power tools. However, I am completely amused by this idea of "power tool of the year award." Every year new tools come out that are better than last year. This makes the consumer want to get the newest tool to get the job done. What I find interesting about this award is that of all the tools out there (and there are many tools that serve all different kinds of purposes) one is being named the best. This also makes me question because each tool is a design for a specific job. So then how can one be the best? Maybe I'm just over thinking it.
