This is a very far reaching job posting. Not only is this production manager responsible for coordinating events in this space and dealing with the HR issues that come along with that, but they are in charge or creating and maintaining a lot of the signage and promotional material, and do quite a bit of public engagement and house management type tasks. I wonder why this position has become free all of a sudden? Possibly because of the far ranging responsibilities? It seems like, at the Lincoln Center, it would be a position in great demand.

I assume that this is either a new position, or one that turns over quite frequently. The job description is huge and makes it sound like more work than any one person could ever accomplish. I agree with Brian, it may be a bit far reaching, but if anyone can pull in the talent to accomplish such a task wouldn't it be the Lincoln Center. One would think that the best of the best are applying for positions at this theatre and if they are able to weed out the good from the bad, the Lincoln Center could find a homerun of a hire.
