I just need to comment on the fact that this is a wonderful way to encourage the younger generations to pursue this industry. My mind is continually blown by how far the technical and design aspects of this industry expand. I've only had the chance to look through a peephole at entertainment, and I'm finally beginning see the bigger picture. Little things such as these awards really show what a tight community entertainment really is.
I Have found myself looking over these lists, and just looking at these lists and the names on them, one day some of these names will show up in a Broadway playbill somewhere. The college generation is the future of the industry and is an excellent sign of where things are going. One of the main reasons I am excited to go to Houston is to see designer's work and to get to see what is going on right now in the entertainment industry, as well as what will be going on in the future.
