Musicals help set new record as £470m spent on theatre in 2007
The Stage: "West End theatres saw record-breaking audience figures last year, with reality television shows such as How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and Any Dream Will Do being “undeniably responsible” for attracting many of the nine million visitors who attended musical productions in the capital."
