ETC Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Korean Institute
8 1/2 x 11 Newsletter: "'Korea is definitely one of the world leaders in interactive digital media. So to be connected to an institution as forward thinking and dynamic as KAIST and its Culture Technology degree program, under the enlightened leadership of Dean Kwangyun Wohn, is only proper for the ETC. We can learn from them and they can learn from us,' said ETC Executive Producer Don Marinelli."

It is really cool to see the ETC expanding and working with more organizations. I completely agree with Don Marinelli's statement that both the ETC and KAIST will learn from each other -- Korea has amazing programmers and computer scientists, and CMU has excellent arts and entertainment programs that will complement each other in the way that the Entertainment Technology Center was designed.
Yea, the Korean gaming industry is pretty intense. I am glad Carnegie Mellon is bridging out to foreign research because there is a lot to be share amongst different Cultures today.
