Advocating a better education system for the 21st Century. » Technology and the Art Classroom
Change Agency: "I started to respond to this in a comment on Miguel’s post, but decided that my thoughts were more than what would fit in a comment. In 2002, I wrote a paper discussing the very issue of technology integration in the visual arts classroom. In the paper I explored the historical connections between art and technology as well as the perceived “pros” and “cons” to infusing technology media into the visual arts classroom. My personal position on the issue is that technology should continue to be included the art classroom, but at the same time, the art teacher should recognize (and be accepting of) the impact that the new media will have on student artmaking."
