The Sultan s Elephant
Hemmy.net, A source of varied interests: "The Sultan s Elephant is one of the biggest piece of free theater and it stopped the traffic and captivated everyone who saw it. An earlier post, The Giant Girl Doll is a part of the Sultan s Elephant show as well. The elephant is made mostly of wood and operated by over ten puppeteers using a mixture of hydraulics and motors."

Traveling theater has never been anymore unique than what I see here. I rather like how the pictures portray this puppet of sorts as being so lifelike in action. Intricacy is suggested throughout the pictures as the technological aspects appear to be rather complex yet fit together in an elaborate and unique way. Roaming theater in this scale is something that shows great design and production technology. Anyway, roaming theater is just fun anyway... I would be greatly amused if I saw an elephant or even a cart of some sort go rolling by on Forbes Avenue or anywhere throughout Pittsburgh.
