L.A. writer wins Grindstone Award
Post Gazette: "Anne Flanagan of Los Angeles has won the 2006 Grindstone Award in the Mountain Playhouse International Comedy Playwriting Contest. Flanagan will receive $3,000 from the Jennerstown theater company and a reading of her play by a professional cast at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Green Gables Restaurant, adjacent to the Mountain Playhouse. The ceremony and showcase is open to the public."
