Haddad's builds Western Pa.'s first ground-up sound stage for filmmakers in West Mifflin

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: In Dawn Keezer’s mind, the commercial film industry in Western Pennsylvania officially kicked off in 1968 following the release of George Romero’s instant zombie classic “Night of the Living Dead.” In the 55 years since, one of the unique elements that’s made this region such a hotbed for movie and television production is the sheer number of preexisting structures that could be retrofitted for Hollywood’s purposes.
