I am so glad to have found this article when I did. I have just begun the series, and have noted how interesting please costumes are. They are so intricately detailed, and after such iconic introductions, to fashion of the era in the Bridgerton series, it is interesting to see the choices they have made with this new story. It is wonderful that they were able to get the costume designers in this interview. I think that I was not very interesting in the original series was how the queen always had her own style, regardless of what they have been popular in the ton. Throughout the series she is always supporting a different, more old-fashioned silhouette, that is often seen as more regal. It is interesting to know, see how her style began in England, and interesting to see other characters with similar silhouettes and styles. I am so glad this was brought up in the interview, and I get a sort of explanation as to why the queen has such a different silhouette once fashion has moved on.
