This upcoming season at the Pittsburgh Public theater is sure to be incredible. The plays they have chosen speaks to audiences of all generations. The musical they have chosen is super fun. One thing I am slightly worried about is casting. When I saw the humans, the Grandmother was suffering from I think Alzheimer’s. Her acting was incredible. I was crying through the whole show because of her. Her performance was something that I have never seen done before in a play or movie. I really really hope they cast someone who does justice to the part. I know that the design elements for the upcoming season will be great. I cannot wait to see how they design the set for The Humans. Also I wonder who is going to design the puppets for Equs and what they will look like. I hope next year I will have the time to go see all the shows playing at the Pittsburgh Public.
