The San Diego Union-Tribune: The budget blueprint that President Trump revealed proposes the elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts. This is the third time in my professional theater career that the agency is imperiled. I raised my voice in its defense in the late-1980s and mid-1990s, and I am proud to do so again.
