6 Theatre Workers You Should Know
AMERICAN THEATRE: Currently the audio head at Goodman Theatre, she began there in 2007 as the sound intern, and has since worked on 35 productions at the theatre. Among her Goodman credits are the pre-Broadway run of War Paint with Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole and Wonderful Town, the largest musical the organization has ever produced, for which she performed audio engineer and sound mixing duties. Farina is recognized as achieving official Journeymen status in the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 2 of Chicago.

It is refreshing to open up an article, and be smacked in the face with diversity. The body content contained more than just actors, designers, writers, but passionate dynamic individuals of various ages, genders and races. I just appreciate the broad scope of this article. In terms of the content itself, I was particularly enlightened by the positive messages that each artist had to share and what drove their individual passions in the theatre. Many of them, were not straight out of the womb decided what they wanted to do, but more a jack of all trades coming from all walks of life. Reading about each artist came with a life lesson, a mantra. Each was humble although successful which is increasingly important in our day and age, and something I aspire to be. No matter how many credits you have humility and hard work wins out, just like with these unique individuals.I thoroughly appreciated a glimpse into these brilliant minds and will definitely be keeping them on my radar.
