Twenty Years of Prime Stage
Pittsburgh in the Round: Wayne Brinda has his wife to thank for giving him the push to start the Prime Stage Theatre Company in 1995. Brinda, had been working for a grant funded company that was facing financial hardship and Wayne’s wife, Connie pointed out that he had always wanted to start his own company—why not do it now? In its twentieth season, the Prime Stage Theatre Company is still going strong. This year’s season will feature the plays: To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, and the exclusive premiere of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
