Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Like any good work of art John Logan's "Red" presents its audience with multiple entry points and messages.
Director Pamela Berlin and the two fine actors performing in the Pittsburgh Public Theater production that runs through Dec. 11 create an engaging and intriguing pathway to explore the multiple ideas and issues that Logan raises.
The drama focuses on abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko in 1958 at the crest of his career as he works on a high-profile commission that may bring him validation and a great deal of money.
