Daily Autocad: "AutoCAD 2005 has brought a new feature to MTEXT objects. I will be talking about “Background Mask“, i.e. adjusting the backgroung for MTEXT objects."
acad 05? nothing new. still a very useful feature and a nice reminder of it's existence. however, when do we find ourselves putting text or dimensions over hatching or other lines? usually never.

I thought we were in the land of ACAD 2009? Oh well, its a nice feature to know about anyway. This could be useful in many applications.
Hey that's pretty cool. Sorta. Eh, yea I'm with bward that it's kinda like a little back pocket thing rather then a sorta useful thing.
