Season With an Unpredictable Plot: Broadway Braces for the Tonys
New York Times: "Turn the clock back to July. You’re making your way through an undisclosed Broadway watering hole on a night when the summer is at full boil, and Manhattan has switched places with East Hampton. At one of the few occupied tables, a couple of bronzed gentlemen are nursing icy martinis, idly handicapping the coming season. Here are the topics of conversation: “The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein,” “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” and the possible open-ended engagement of a drama called “Stagehands on Strike.”"
