I think it's really cool that the decline in smoking is so evident, especially in the performing arts world. It's one of the clear changes in our generation that I thinkis genuinely positive and hopefully shows a general increase in health awareness. I completely support the banning of cigarettes on stage. Unless they're paying you thousands of dollars in a movie or something, I don't think the smoking is worth it, and actors shouldn't feel pressured to smoke because of a show. This way, the cast is totally equal in one of these situations.
