New Play Dramatizes Plight of Iraqis Who Worked for US in Baghdad
VOA News: "A new play, 'Betrayed,' has again drawn attention to the plight of Iraqis who have worked for the U.S. in Iraq. The play by author and journalist George Packer grew out of an article he published last year in the New Yorker magazine. It documented how many Iraqis who have worked for the U.S. have been threatened and murdered by insurgents and militias -- and largely feel abandoned by their former American employers. Carolyn Weaver reports from New York."
