It is cool to see that Massachusetts is increasing the incentives for films, although this article doesn't explain the system of credit, rebates, etc. I can understand that Massachusetts is a popular state for films, as I have twice seen movies being filmed when visiting my Grandfather who lives there. It looks as if this will also have a nice economic effect by attracting jobs, and is a winning scenario for everyone.
Generally I insist on reading any article relating to MA simply because I grew up there, but this article turned out to be more interesting than I expected. I also thought it lacked explanations in many areas, but regardless it is so exciting to see how this will hopefully alter the economy and affect the surrounding communities. I really have never seen many movies being filmed there despite how long I have lived in Ma, but I have no trouble believing that it is quite the film-friendly state.
