Actors Fund, SAG Foundation Support Actors During Strike
Backstage: "Like many actors, Grey's Anatomy stand-in Jeffrey Kaiser spent the second half of November waiting for his last checks from the show to arrive and for his unemployment to kick in as he struggled to find work in film productions. But when he looked at his finances, he realized the gap between his final work check and his unemployment check would fall on the week his rent was due. Unsure what to do, Kaiser went to the Screen Actors Guild, which referred him to the Actors Fund of America."
