War Serves as Backdrop for 'The Vertical Hour'
NPR: "The play The Vertical Hour, written by David Hare, focuses on a young war correspondent assigned abroad. Hare talks to Renee Montagne about the play, which opens Thursday on Broadway. Sam Mendes, the Oscar-winning director of American Beauty, directs the production, and Julianne Moore stars."
