It is so good to hear that theaters who make art for the sake of...art....are being honored and renowned in such a way. I come from one such theater; a nonunion theater that basically had no budget, but believed in getting messages to audiences, even if they were audiences full of friends. I am disappointed that our artform is moving to the dark side. Yes, money is important and can get you places. But sometimes, the best theater is made on $100.
