Transom: I have a confession to make: even though I love sound, I don’t really like sound equipment.
It’s expensive, for one. Also, the names are either a charmless mess of letters and numbers that I can never keep straight, or they have too much character, like the time I had to reassure my panicked 2nd grader that the package I just brought home didn’t contain a literal “Dead Kitten.” And then there’s the cables . . . don’t get me started on audio cables.
