So, I took this quiz, in the pursuit of so-called "fun." During this journey of self-discovery, I learned that I am A: woefully uninformed as to the operations of live sound and B: that I get horrible test anxiety over the least important things.
Because this blog is about learning, I will now regurgitate some pieces of information this quiz has taught me.
1. 20 micropascals is equivalent to the human hearing threshold of 3 Hz.
2. If you put a loudspeaker line into a microphone input, the loudspeaker will function like a giant microphone, and everybody will laugh at you.
3. The tightest cardioid pickup pattern (for mic pickup) is the hyper pickup pattern.
4.The FCC limits the transmission power of wireless microphones to 50 mW, not whatever you can get away with, as I would have guessed.
5.I'm not as into this sound thing as I thought.
